Can I give my investment adviser and accountant online access to my portfolio?
Yes.

Are the fees normally tax deductible?
Yes, in most cases the fee is 100% tax deductible. You should speak with your accountant to determine if this is the case for you.

I use several different brokers, can I still use the service?
Yes, the Allegiance Portfolio Service will support multiple brokers. We would just request that each of the broking firms forward us a copy of your contract notes so we can ensure your portfolio is always up-to-date and accurate.

If my circumstances change or if I decide that I am not happy with the service am I still required to pay fees for the full year?
No. At Allegiance, we are confident that the quality of our service will lead to long lasting relationships. We will only charge you on a quarterly basis for the time you use the service and there are no termination or exit fees. For example, if you joined the service in January and decided to leave in March, you would only be charged for one quarter.

I have some direct investments in property. Can these be included in the reporting?
Yes. We can include all types of investments.

My self managed superannuation account has invested in art. Can these be included in the reporting?
Absolutely. We can include art, jewellery and many other alternative investments.

How do I set up an account?
You complete a new client application form and we request that you provide us with details of your existing investments so that we may reconstruct your portfolio from a tax perspective so you may fully benefit from our optimised Capital Gains Tax processing technology.

Are my investments pooled with other investors?
No. You have direct control over your investments and you retain full legal and beneficial ownership.

How often will I receive my investment reports?
You will receive detailed quarterly reports every three months. In the meantime, you are free to log on to your account via our secure website at anytime to view your updated portfolio. Should you prefer to receive printed reports on a monthly basis, we are able to provide this service for a small additional fee.

How often is my online account updated?
Daily.

What is the delay on market data and news feeds?
There is a 20min delay on market data and news feeds. Should you require live feeds, we can provide this for a small monthly fee.
